Size of pockets very useful: fit in wallet, cell, water bottle and a bunch of other things while snow boarding. They all stayed dry. The Jacket kept me warm in -10F at Killington snowboarding. The wind did not go through the coat. I like coats to be a little roomy so I can have a couple layers on when snowboarding and this fit as expected. I ordered a large (5'9" and 165 lbs) and it is very comfortable.
